What do you do when you can't do anything?
Well you can always do something... in my case with my son who is still having health issues, I pray, light candles and have faith.
What can you do if your husband/wife/partner, is tired of the relationship after years of emotional investment.
I have seen more than a few couples in this situation. It is devastating on so many levels. For the one that wants out, guilt.
For the one that wants the relationship they feel powerless, insecure with loss of self esteem, frightened, angry, and betrayed.
I have helped couples get past this break in the relationship back to themselves, the us,
but on a whole new level. A deeper level, a more honest and fulfilling level. Their relationship is strengthened.
It takes work, change is difficult we all like our comfort levels undisturbed. To grow and change we have to be ready to be disturbed, face ourselves, be truthful, share emotions. Take risks.
All this takes action and cooperation from both people.
There are many things that you can do, and if change doesn't happen in relationship, then you must change your perspective.
Perspective. You can feel like a victim. which will leave you feeling horrible about yourself and partner. You can re frame this curse you feel is upon you to a blessing in disguise.
A blessing in disguise.
A gift which will help you grow and expand opening up new worlds within yourself.
I believe in a benevolent God. This belief is a touch stone within my soul. I may kick and scream about things I can't control like peoples health, loss and betrayal. What saves me is my vision of Creator as benevolent, I return to the belief of "blessing in disguise"
I suggest you do the same. We don't know, what we don't know, we need faith that if we are walking the path of good or "do no harm" in the world, then we know that what happens in our personal world has value for our growth and expansion.
We may not see it right aways but if you have faith then you can trust that you will discover what the blessing was, or is at the right time.
Blessings and love, Malka
